By virtue of something: Bởi vì điều đó gì, thứ gì đó, cụm từ này thay cho because of/ due to something
Ví dụ: She got the job by virtue of her high academic degree
In accordance with something: Hoà hợp với thứ gì đó, thuận theo thứ gì đó
Ví dụ He acted in accordance with the lifestyle of native people
In lieu of something: Thay vì thừ gì đó
Example: Readers nowadays tend to select online newspapers as a main news provider in lieu of printed magazines
With the aim of/ with the intension of : ( để làm gì)
EX: With the aim of achieving the scholarship, he could have put much effort into studying.
In case of something: Phòng khi, trong trường hợp , mang nghĩa dự phòng, toan tính trước
Example: In case of rain, carry an umbrella along
With regard to/In regard to somebody/ something: Liên quan đến ai đó, thứ gì đó
Example: With regard to finance, this solution can be solved properly
With a view to (doing) something: Với mục đích gì (= with the aim of/ with the intension of)
Example: This environmental research is conducted with a view to providing students with deeper understandings about negative effects of global warming.
By means of something: Bằng cách nào đó, nhờ vào thứ gì đó , thay cho with the help of something
=> EX: Daily conversation among today’s humans become easier by means of technology
